In the grand scheme of things it's nothing. In my world, Sherlock Holmes is a fictional detective, with adventures set in the Victorian era. Watson is his sidekick of sorts, and lives with him in London. He narrates the stories. He was a medic in the British army at one time.
I thought it was odd. But with all these worlds and universes, why not? Why not some variation of fiction?
