In the grand scheme of things it's nothing. In my world, Sherlock Holmes is a fictional detective, with adventures set in the Victorian era. Watson is his sidekick of sorts, and lives with him in London. He narrates the stories. He was a medic in the British army at one time.
I thought it was odd. But with all these worlds and universes, why not? Why not some variation of fiction?
I've been biting my tongue for months. Bloody hell do I feel better now.
It doesn't change anything, does it? I don't know the stories like the back of my hand, just the broad strokes. I wasn't very much into them. [Ha ha ha ha ha ha... oops.]
[ sorry Claire he's not - entirely certain how to navigate this conversation. that sounded earnest. that was earnest wasn't it? try again John. ]
Yeah? Well. Thank you, I'm glad. [ hm. ] I would've said the same, but then I found out you don't like my alternate life story, so now I'm not so sure.

[Good job, Claire.]
It's hardly accurate. You're not from the 1800s.

Did you say sidekick? Jesus.

Ah, he was--a biographer of sorts, I believer. For Sherlock. And--a detective in his own right.
