Your reputation does precede you. You must be recognised often?

Well, of course. As you say, it's obvious now. And that's a deliberate choice, to be less Victorian?

Still, someone must have been scandalised, for you to ward off shock in your profile?

But you were hoping to be incognito.

Due to your long history of dark, victorian deeds. You and your accomplice, Sherlock Homles?

Those terrible, notorious, victorian things you did. You know, the ones that meant the whole world learned your name.

Or was it more of a scandal at court? Yourself and someone... Sherlock Holmes? Getting victorian in a bedroom at the palace?

Allegedly, of course. I know how those rumours can spread.

Not the foggiest.

If you could explain 'victorian' that would also be a help.

Ah, the 1800s. That would explain it.

And the first of those sounds atrocious, so, hello.

Oh.

I don't know any world where that's currently a century. Close, when it comes to England, and yet not quite.

An enthusiastic greeting. You must not be as bored as I am, tonight.

It was and wasn't. Travelling between worlds isn't unheard of where I'm from, though almost impossible to do. I can't say I had expectations, though if I had I'm sure this would have confounded them.

Good. Then there must be more to you than a well known name and a former career?

How has it confounded yours?

Princes are born. I can't say being one's much effort.

That's both an intriguing and frustrating answer.

Fortunately, I was also born with an innate aptitude for fun.
