THE MAGICAL MYSTICAL MAGNIFYING POST,
also known as: give me ya goss
thanks to our wonderful mods and my love of big surprises, John has been gifted with:
"what looks like a rather large magnifying glass with an ornately carved handle. The lens of this magnifying glass is enchanted with a spell that allows anyone who holds it and looks through to read any piece of text twice as fast as before. The look of the text on the page also seems to draw his eye to the most important information, as if it's been magically highlighted."
John will be using this magical gift, obviously, to spy on people on the network. Predominantly he's going in interested in collecting any information about potential murderplots, but upon spending time reading he'll basically just be collecting any interesting information and compiling it! this includes but is not limited to:
- usernames of people who seem to Know Things: up to no good, have information on potential dangerous pod inhabitants, are Strong and Righteous, etcetcetcETCETC
- information about previous attempts on the live of people in the pods
- information about the nature of their existence in El Nysa/their rescue by the Natha/etc
- information on interesting Shenanigans going on in El Nysa
- tracking certain individuals' chats with certain other individuals if they become Suspicious
so BASICALLY I will eventually have to read literally every text tag on the network in order to do what John's gonna do but I'm probably not going to get that done any time soon so if you've got any threads you think have particularly interesting stuff in them, either in the past the present or if you find yourself threading some interesting public text threads in the future, please please please do throw me a link!! I will be forever in your debt
