Backtagging: Fine by me! If things get too old I tend to lose focus and drift off though, but as a rule I'm more than happy to continue anything somebody specifically wants to so just hit me up! If I've lost the motivation for it I'll let you know

Fourthwalling policy: Fourthwalling for the Sherlock Holmes canon on a whole is absolutely fine! Show-specific fourthwalling is also fine but will probably throw John into a complete tailspin so if you could hit me up in advance just to make sure I'm Prepared that would be excellent! Making vague references to the show is completely fine without checking in though, and if my tags keep prodding at the references it's safe to assume I'm okay with stepping out of vague territory!

Action vs. Prose: I have a habitual preference for action but am perfectly capable of prose and should probably practice it more often so if you've a strong prose pref I can meet it!

Physical Violence: Absolutely fine with writing out violence. This doesn't guarantee I'll be any good at it but theoretically this is fine and also highly likely.

Mental Information: He's a formerly heavily depressed man who was actually pulled out of one of the happiest times of his life so he's in an okay place right now. That being said there are inevitable dips and troughs and his coping mechanisms for any situation are wild and I'm a-okay with telepaths and empaths doing their thing. Anything that's hanging around in the brackets is fair game for anyone with those kinds of powers! It's also fine for them to affect him in whatever other ways telepaths and empaths do, he's not got any special mental defences (unless the decades worth of boxing off his thoughts and emotions actually acts as a decent defence against literal telepaths and empaths in which case hit me tf up that might be interesting to play) so treat yoselves

Physical Affection: OOCly I'm fully comfortable playing out whatever, ICly good fucking luck

IC Triggers: Being forced to acknowledge his own existence as a human being with feelings who might need emotional support during times of trauma lmfAO no he's currently not yet acquired the Angst Mass that is post-reichenbach and is therefore fairly unflappable (although if anything traumatic does occur over which he might experience emotions that first thing I mentioned is a joke but also Isn't A Joke)

Relationships: Friend & family bonds are both up for grabs! wrt Meaningful Romantic Relationships I'm not on the look out for it and won't be hunting but I also never say no to an organically occurring ship! John will likely eventually start dating if the opportunity arises but there's a very clear distinction between his choosing to date a person and his being significantly emotionally invested in a person and his dating track record for combining the two at his current canon point is Terrible lmfsajksdfj

Anyway tl;dr whatever the CR gods roll is fine by me, I'm all about letting that CR grow itself.
